ORYXE named to Top Innovator list
ORYXE Energy International, an Irvine company that develops fuel additives that make gasoline and diesel burn more cleanly, has been named to the Top 100 Innovator list by Red Herring magazine.
Red Herring editors reviewed 1,200 applications from more than 900 companies. The magazine covers companies involved in innovation, technology, financing and entrepreneurial activity. Its list reflects companies it thinks will help shape technologies this year.
ORYXE's first product to market was a diesel additive that has been approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to produce a fuel that meets the Lone Star state's diesel emission requirements.
"Selection for the Innovation 100 puts the company in an elite group," said Joel Dreyfuss, editor of Red Herring.
