Michael D. Redemer Named Executive Vice President of

Former ChevronTexaco Technology Ventures Exec and California Air Resources Board Manager Joins Senior Management Team and Board of Directors of Growing Energy Technology Company
Irvine , Calif. – July 6, 2004 – ORYXE Energy International announced today that Michael D. Redemer has joined the progressive energy technology company as Executive Vice President of Product Development and Commercialization.
Redemer, formerly venture executive for ChevronTexaco Technology Ventures, as well as a former manager of the California Air Resources Board, will lead ORYXE Energy’s initiatives in developing and marketing the company’s proprietary organic fuel additive products.

Based in Irvine, Calif., ORYXE Energy is focused on developing and marketing renewable additives for diesel, gasoline, and heavy distillates to enable these fuels to burn cleaner, thus reducing air pollution.
ORYXE Energy was formed in October 2001 to develop and commercialize biologically based, biodegradable, and environmentally clean fuel additives, many for certification under current and contemplated State and Federal protocols. Since entering the emissions abatement market, ORYXE Energy has conducted extensive research and filed 15 patents. ORYXE Energy sells the company’s proprietary additives directly to refineries and large consumers of fuel in order to assure immediate availability to the broadest possible market.

Redemer earned his bachelor of arts in environmental biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Southern California.
He began his career as an air pollution inspector for the Fresno County Air Pollution Control District before moving on to a manager position for the California Air Resources Board. Redemer then held various positions in business development, operations and engineering for several energy organizations. His experience includes serving as Manager, Environmental Health and Safety for Texaco; Director, Corporate Planning and Economics Department for Texaco; and venture capital investing in advanced technology companies as a Venture Executive with ChevronTexaco Technology Ventures.
In his Executive Vice President role, Redemer reports directly to the CEO and Chairman of the Board. Redemer also has accepted a seat on the ORYXE Energy Board of Directors.
Redemer lives in Danville, Calif., with his wife, Margaret, and their two children.
