How Does ORYXE Energy’s Residual Fuel Additive Work?
ORYXE Energy’s proprietary residual fuel additive contains active organic and organometallic ingredients. When mixed with residual fuel oil and introduced to the boiler, these components catalyze free radical and ionic reactions, which reduce the unburned carbon in the exhaust gas.
Combustion also is improved by secondary atomization of the fuel droplets. The combination of the excess heat and the additive’s proprietary components induces secondary atomization, which decreases the surface area of the fuel droplets, allowing them to burn more completely. This process produces a shorter, wider and more intense flame that causes early heat release. The early heat release allows more time for heat to transfer throughout the furnace and for combustion to take place.
